L’ospedale Addis Abeba Fistola offre anche periodi di stage per medici che lavorano nella chirurgia delle fistole. Si precisa che l'ospedale ha limitato le opportunità di formazione che si organizzano principalmente per preparare i colleghi del Terzo Mondo (Vedi il modulo di registrazione per i medici). I nostri progetti attuali comprendono attrezzature ospedaliere di prima necessità e un progetto di prevenzione su larga scala in Metu. Le autorità etiopi hanno normative doganali molto severe che non permettono in genere di trasportare strumenti o macchinari. Compriamo in Germania le attrezzature mediche che non sono disponibili in Etiopia, come ad esempio cateteri a palloncino, ecc e li inviano in Etiopia. Per questo siamo anche lieti di ricevere la vostra donazione!
